Little River Big Future Phase Three Introduction
Presented, October 30, 2006
(pdf, 2.78MB)
The Little River Watershed is a place for fun and outdoor recreation, provides a home for native plants and animals, and is one of the fastest growing areas in Tennessee.
The Little River is one of East Tennessee's most important natural resources, and it is the main source of Blount County's drinking water.
For these and many other reasons, it is important that everyone living, working, or playing in the Little River Watershed continue to work together now to preserve this important local resource for future generations.
As a resident of the watershed, you are encouraged to take part in this effort and learn how you can help develop strategies to best utilize and sustain the Little River Watershed and its resources.
Please feel free to browse the website for more information, and view this Little River, Big Future Presentation, which explains the history and goals of the program.
